This vitamin is known as the Anti Stress vitamin as it plays a role in the production of the adrenal hormones, relieving stress and fatigue. Vitamin B5 is necessary for proper function and health of the adrenal glands. It promotes the formation of antibodies and aids in vitamin utilization. Vitamin B5 also helps convert carbohydrates, proteins and fat into energy and is required by all cells in the body, its highest concentration is in the organs. This vitamin is also very important for the normal healthy function of the gastrointestinal tract (GI). B5 Balances the immune system and reduces toxic effects of antibiotics and radiation.
